Bright Futures Daycare & Preschool (BFDP) is open to children newborn to 12 years old. Children are enrolled on a first-come, first-served basis. If classrooms are full, children will be placed on a waitlist and contacted as an opening occurs. To complete enrollment families are encouraged to bring their child to visit the center.

By utilizing an academically advanced, research-based curriculum children will discover their interests and develop their abilities through structured activities and play that fosters their social, emotional, physical and cognitive potential.

Meals & Snacks

Food service will follow Federal Child and Adult Food Program guidelines. We serve two meals and two snacks per day depending on the times a child is in our care. Food will be free of charge to children during the hours they are at Bright Futures Daycare and Preschool.

Food will be prepared in a commercial kitchen and transported to the center and then served family style within each classroom. Food that is open will be labeled with the date and contents and used within the safe time frame.

Tuition

Rates for daycare will be free-to-market rate following the current rates in accordance with the State of Michigan Child Development and Care Program. We work with parents individually, at time of enrollment or when there are major changes, to obtain a financial contract that addresses each family’s needs.

Tuition payments are prior to the first day your child is in care for the week. A late fee of $15 per week will be charged if your payment is not received. Nonpayment or partial payment for two consecutive weeks may result in dismissal.

If you qualify for DHS assistance with your payments, you will still be required to pay full amount for any hours your child is in care that DHS doesn’t cover. You are responsible for the full rate until your child care payments are approved.

Registration & Annual Fee

There is a one time, non-refundable registration fee of $65.00

There is an annual fee of $65.00 per child after the first year in care.
